mail order tune
I have a 99 TA m6, I got a mail order tune. I went to the track and my times are slower. WTF by .300 and dropped 3mph in the quarter. Then i put a 75 shot to it, and now I running the same time with nitrous as i was na. WTF !!!! Tire size maybe I went from 275-45-17 to a 295-30-18. My new tuner who i am going to see tomorrow to re tune it said the car had 29 degrees of timing. So i think the car is seeing the timing and the cylinder psi and dropping the timing back.
The ecu that has the tune in itwas throwing the knock codes so I took out, and stuck the stock ecu in it. Now the the car dosent throw the code , but it dose with the bottle. SO WHATS UP WITH IT HELP ME

Even 29 can be 26 or 25 depending on the ECT, IAT spark reduction tables. Regardless, 29 is higher than most of us are able to run. Further, throwing spray @ an engine that's already pulling timing due to knock is not a good idea.
The stock ecu (PCM) has a less aggressive timing table, which is why there is no knock code. It is too high for the spray though.
+1 on contacting FROST.
