once you throw a P0601 in a 1998 pcm, it is dead, it will take a full reflash, but never activate the fuel injectors.

If you can't find one in a reasonable period of time, I have a spare 98 pcm, and can program it for your vin.

no I do not have the spare 98 pcm anymore. I gave it to the guy who bought my 98 ws6.

I do have a roadrunner emulator for the 98 cars, but I want $1000 if I sell it.

Thanks,

Ryan

I would love to convert every 98 to a newer pcm but its not as easy as one thinks. yes you can re pin out the pcm harness, but you still need to address the fuel issue, and the inst cluster as well. If anyone has a quick guide to convert the 98's i would love to see it. Frost possibly?
