Issues with HPtuners software
Issues with HPtuners software I can scan my car sometimes, but i cant write or read the VCM. I used to be able to when i first put most of my mods on my car, which was a few months ago, and now the scanner funtion is sporadic at best and the editing function is almost non-existent. Am i going to have to constantly be buying new hardware or software for this thing? I need to pull 2 degrees of timing to run my nitrous and cant do it without my Hptuners working.
You're post doesn't really tell **** about whats going on or if you've done anything to try and troubleshoot? What is it saying or doing while you're having problems? Have you tried scanning another vehicle to determine that the problem is with the HPTuners stuff and not the car? Did you buy it new or used? What kind of shape is the hardware in? Any other problems with your PC?

well it says different messages. Sometimes it says that i need to have the car in the run position and plug the interface in, which i already have done. Other times it will connect and everything, but it wont let me fully write or read the VCM. So, it gets through the first couple of steps when you click Read VCM, and then it says failure. Same thing happens when trying to write to the VCM.
