p.m'd back

here is the what I should have said in the first post. The car is a 2002 trans am ws6 with a turbo tune. When I got the 4l80e put in (of course me rushing to go to the track) It now has a 2001 sierra tune in the car. So emissions is coming up for me need to get the 02 tune back in the car with the segment swap done. But what I did was saved my 02 tune on hp tunners and saved the 01 tune on hp tunners with the turbo setup. So if this is an easier way, that would be great. Thanks

If you have hptuners, you can send the hpt file right to them for a segment swap. They did a 4l80e segment swap for me for a 2002 camaro turbo at the beginning of the summer. There is a 2-4 week lead time on segment swaps.

I never thought about that I wish I did, now the shitty thing is that I have emissions now with it. dont think it will be enough time. Of course.

when you fail smog just take it to the DMV and they will let you get an extension about 10 days or more to fix it. So if you get on it soon you should be able to make it.

I wish it was that easy, in the chicago land area they just plug for obd2 and my vin now reads a 2001 GMC Sierra instead of 02 Bird. That wouldnt be good at all.
