Question P0135 - How much to fix?

How much are factory driver side O2 sensors? I guess that is what I need after reading the threads on the subject. I wasn't going to get extensions because I have shorties and don't plan on getting LTs for quite some time. Does anyone have a part #? And how easy are they to change? Do I have to get these from a dealer? Thanks.

Nick

Easy to change just unplug them and use a wrench to get it out.

They are very easy to change. Just use a 7/8ths wrench to take it out the exaust and simply unplug it. Denso part #2344025

So if I go to the local AutoZone or NAPA, will it be a plug and play part?

All you do is remove the old one. And install the new one and then your done. I recommend denso.FTW. you might want to shop around because you could find lower prices than at autozone or napa.

Thanks, will do. Also, with this code thrown and driving around with the SES on will I experience power loss? It seems like I am that is the only reason I ask.

When I check out O'Reilly Auto link they ask to show sensors for before or after the cat? Then when I click to show both, some say upstream sensor and some say downstream sensor. Which will I need? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I have just never dealt with this before. Thanks!

#13444 will replace any of the 4 on your car. If you want they make a longer one for the ls1 vettes which will work on your car and its also a little cheaper. #13111

Heater codes can be nothing more than bitching,
especially if they come on when the weather gets cold.
You might not have a real problem. You'd have to judge
by looking at the sensor waveforms in normal operation.

Raising the closed loop enable temperature would let
the system get hotter before trying and criticizing.

Shielding the area around the sensor might help, I am
fiddling with that for my long tubes but have the
codes turned off already.

It has been below freezing lately. I wonder if I should just wait until it gets warmer. Thanks!
