hey guys, ive got an 01 vette and for some reason it started giving me a reduced engine power code, one saying low voltage, on saying charge system fault, and several about my traction control and active handling.....i finally got it to start and it ran fine, just kinda acted like the timing was bouncing around at idle tho.....any ideas at all??? please help!!!

Thanks, Britt

Thanks, Britt
A jiggy advance at idle is normal, that is adaptive spark
trying to stabilize RPM.
Reduced power seems to often come from a disagreement
between alpha-N and speed density airflow, there's a
fault threshold you can bump up in the Diag section (I
forget the number) to get more slack. It's peculiar to
electric throttle vehicles, a safety / sanity check (well,
I guess nowadays it's cable throttle that's peculiar).
As far as the plain electricals, I'd start with hygeine -
the grounds, the main line off the alt stud and the
exciter wire, scrub them all clean & tight one by one.
Check the side posts, I have had two Delco batteries
leak acid out the (+) and chew up the copper pretty
good.
