Default 99+ knock sensors on 98

Okay so I'm going to replace the knock sensors on my 98 to the 99+ because they aren't ****.

Do I need the harness along with the newer style sensors? Or can I just do the sensors.

Also if I have to do the harness how hard is that to change?

umm are you sure that you want to tackle this job alone? haha when you replace the knock sensors if you have high mileage you should just go ahead and change the harness because the connectors will probably break when you try to remove them from the knock sensors. you do know that you have to remove the intake to get to the knock sensors right?

You have got to be joking. Wow.

I talked to my tuner anyways he said no reason to replace them with the updated ones he can tune them out.
