Think of this: it's hard to run a business, do the work, do a good job, listen/answer/explain/talk to your customers... all by yourself... it's a handfull++... so Steve is doing a stellar job...

I will add not only because he is a friend, but he took the time to leave a concert to tune my car due to my busy schedule and had limited time. He got it running the way it should. Because of that I dropped almost a second off my ET because of his tune and the car drives great.

He will go far!
This day age people forget its customers that keep ya in business! Steve is a very busy guy forsure meet him few years back when he helped me find wiring issue in pcm!
I spent few extram minutes each day on other boards in tuning sections talking him up!
Wish i lived closer love for him to tune car in person ! My mail order speed density tune is near amazing! Hardly any bucking or surging !

Is there a big difference with his re-tuning on a basically stock car (CAI, Catback)?
I got a diablo predator as a gift and it is not working at all (see my thread in this section). Looking for a higher octane fuel tune, transmission shift point tuning, etc.

My car has a lid, catback and cutout for mods. The best it would do in 2008 was 14.1-14.2@100 mph. I fixed the exhaust, He tuned the car, fixed a transmission concern with his tune(it was set to shift softer than what GM set them) and my best ET for 2009 was a 13.33@104.

My dealings with Steve have been nothing but positive. I picked his brain via email for a week regarding my options (sorry Steve lol)...and I found that I was totally ill-informed about a bunch of things. He NEVER made me feel stupid, but respectfully did his best to educate me and point out "pro's" and "con's". The man deserves every penny I sent him....and then some!!
He had a delay this week on my "dual-flash" pcm order due to things completely beyond his control, yet took the time to make sure that I understood EXACTLY what caused the delay....and what I would be receiving. He knows what it's like to be left "hanging" with no idea when your order will arrive by some competitors, and really goes the extra mile to make sure that HIS customers are never left feeling that way through being....get this: PRO-ACTIVE! ....something that most vendors totally miss.
I'm not trying to "blow smoke" about this guy, but I have no doubt that when I receive my PCM and tune, he'll be there to make it all come together for me. His reputation speaks for itself, but I'm more than happy to chime in.

I got my PCM back today and was able to test drive the Z for about 20 min. First off the 2002 SOM Z28 is all stock EXCEPT, SLP ram air kit, OBX Longtube headers, and Magnaflow catback. I must say,WOW, the tune really woke the car up. It really pops through the gears. Firm quick shifts. I can only imagine if I had M6. I have always been good with a wrench and believe it or not I owe that to my Mother. Her having 5 boys kinda gets her familar with cars. Actually, she has been a gearhead since the 1950's. LOL. Anyway, I don't know hardly **** when it comes to the computer and tuning. So I totally relied on Steve to do whatever he could to wake the car up and he did. PROPS to Steve. Thanks man! I really appreciate the A+++ service. On to the NEXT MOD. I will talk to ya soon Steve.

Man I almost feel bad about bugging him with a few questions if he is so busy. I am completely un happy with the tune that I got locally and I am having a hard time finding anyone that I trust. I hear nothing but good things about him so I have been thinking about giving him a try.

I just cant decide whether or not I want to go to an SD tune or stick with MAF. So far I haven't had the best of luck with the MAF but I suppose I could attribute that to the capability of my tuner. Its a pretty mild setup in the car but it runs like ****. I am a little sketched out about a mail order tune though.
