Launch Control/2-Step for LS1...
Been diggin around and can't seem to find a solid answer... Is there anything out there, ie. 2-Step, that will work on a 2000 LS1, M6 car?
Also, I have heard with other cars, they can use the tuning software, HP Tuners, to make a rev limiter to be used for the same purpose.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Matt.

I have the msd launch controller, one wire hook up for signal, the others piggy back into the coils. it serious took 25 minutes, i have it hooked to the clutch switch, mounted on passenger side there is a access hole under the pcm, ran the wire inside over to the clutch pedal. This doesnt control timing or anything just controls rpm when activated. bought mine from speed inc one of are sponsers over there >>>>. hope this helps a little

I have the Lingenfelter unit.
Works great, SUPER easy install. Hook two leads together for your main rev limiter, and hook the other one to get +12 when you want the two step active (mine is on a clutch switch). The unit just plugs inline with the coils and BAM, you're rolling.
I will say, it scared the hell out of me the first time I staged it and it started popping in the exhaust while spooling my turbo. BANG!

lingenfelter LNC-002 here. It works great. now i would like to go a little bit farther on my 2 step install to put a limit switch to activate the unit when the car is in 1st gear only!! doing this to avoid the popping between shifts from the rev limiter activating everytime the clutch is pushed in. I could try and post a video of it working on my C5Z.

i cut the current wires on both sides and branched off the power. So now my 2step only has "Active" power when the clutch is depressed. I then took the two stock wires, (bottom and top of the trigger) and sodered them together.
The only thing is if you go this route your car will start without pushing the clutch in.
Check the Corvette forum for a picture install. A few ppl have even gone far enough to put a 1st gear limit switch in. This way the unit is only active while in first gear.
