Default LS2 Vats ?

Will a LS2 with the VATS not deactivated have spark to the motor or not. I am trying to start the car and was wondering if the car will start and run for a few seconds then die. Can you spray carb cleaner to see if it will fire? I still haven't had the computer programmed yet. I wanted to see if I have everything wired correctly first.

Thanks.

I think it will start for a few seconds and then die.

Yes, it will start and run for a second then die, as many times as you want to try it.

If that is in fact the case I really need to fing out what wire(s) I don't have hooked up to power the coils. I am going to have the ECM reflashed today and start from there.
