Like I said, after some tuning to bring the numbers
back in line so the "sensors can do their job" the
stock ones have worked for me...
I have asked alot of question that have
not been answered and then I have to guess,
not the best of choices.

I only use NGK sensors. Advanced Auto Parts carries them in stock now, they got rid of Bosch.
Do they have better heaters in them than the stockers?

I've used both and the NGK/Denso's have lasted longer and have never thrown a code unless my car was out of tune.
Once you do get everything right as far as tune and new O2 sensors Fill it up, clear the PCM useing the power loss method (remove the PCM fuses) then drive the car for at least 30mi. with no restarts, the last 10 of which you want to get on it good.

Waking this thread up again.

I have a problem with my LS1 swap in my corvette 1969. The o2 sensors remain at 450mV and the car stays in open loop. Measured the o2 connector and get: A:1.4V, B:4.7V, C:Ground,D:Ign and that seems right so I'm very confused. The o2s aren't throwing any codes either. Is it possible that I got bad o2 sensors (they are brand new)?

I have these

Anyone else running them?

Bumping an old thread.

Are Bosch still to be avoided?

My car needs new front sensors, not sure what to buy.

I use NGK/NTK 21537 Corvette sensors for my front LT headers. Never had a problem with them.

A tune fixed it. Never a problem since. I continue to use the vette o2s by Bosch.

you won't need them, the length is just right for long tubes on an f-body.

I have been reading every post for this issue and everyone recommends the bosch sensors with varying success, or densos with far less complaints than the bosch. However, the part numbers for the densos are not often mentioned. Can someone please confirm for me that the correct corvette denso o2 sensors to use for the front of an 02 camaro with LT's is denso part number 234-4617. Thanks, I think this will help clear things up for other searchers who wish to avoid the bosch o2's whose part number is always referenced.

i am also having an issue with my o2 sensors on my '02 firebird formula. my question is with the tune. would i have to take it to a tuning shop or can i just use a handheld tuner from sct or something like that? thank you for any info you can supply.

I am going to bump this up, as I am getting a Bank 1 sensor 1 voltage code, a lean code and an P1133 code. I know this is a sensor issue and can be corrected with a tune, but I am also curious as the best sensors to use, Ive seen a lot using the vette sensors with great luck, which year Vette, or are all of them the same? would factory AC Delco be sufficient or should I switch it up to an Aftermarket NTK?

I have had good luck with Denso sensors. I used them in all my f-body's, including race car. Rockauto has them for like $25-$30.
