4L60E won't shift 1-2 at WOT
I have it commanded in EFI to shift at 6200, and I have to pedal it twice to get it to shift. It goes all the way to the limiter.
Little background is that the car is originally a 6 speed car from back before I owned it, it has a 3600ish stall. It's your run of the mill h/c car otherwise.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If that is the case, look at where your WOT points are set, and lower them to a lower RPM range and or lower MPH. If your transmission is older and worn, you may command it to shift at 6000 RPM but because its a little tired, but the time it thinks about and takes action, it may be 6400 RPMs. If that's the case, you have to understand that, and lower your points more for the desired shift points. Those have nothing to do with your Rev Limiter setting.
Also if EFI has a table which shows when what percentage your throttle has to be at for WOT. That my be set to high.
If you had HP Tuners, Id take a look at if for you, but I dont use EFI.
Good luck

I would move those down to say 40% of what they are now, then just command what you want in the wot rpm tables.
6500 is probably too high for a shift anyways.
