Default Pulls timing at WOT

Well I'm in the process of getting my car tuned and its pulling max timing at WOT. Knock sensors are both pretty much brand new(bought brand new when I put the motor in a year or two ago). Any idea?

Ok better question. What are some things that would cause the knock sensors to pull max timing at WOT?

Tell your tuner to log all of the PIDS related to timing and retard. That will show you what is pulling the timing.

I got some logging done today and noticed I got the p0327 low input knock sensor signal or what ever it is. Haven't tore into the car yet, but does anyone know where I can buy a knock sensor harness

Dealer would be the easiest. Get new sensors while you are at it if you think that is your problem.

I think it's either my front sensor or the wiring. Both sensors are as old as the motor is (10,000 miles if not less). I'll look over the harness and see if the connectors are broke or a wire is pinched first.

i had that problem and it was my ported throttle body. the bump stop was ground down too far and the tps would over-travel and i threw no codes and it just did it suddenly after 15k miles. it doesnt sound like this is your problem but it doesnt hurt to double check

Yeah i dont think thats my problem. I did the bump stop mod and ported my throttle body. The TPS is sitting at like 4.65V at WOT or somewhere around there. I know it was almost the max I could go on the bump stop so I just stopped. Called the stealership here in town....$75.00 for ****** knock sensors!!!!! I told the guy he was on crack. I'm not spending $150 for knock sensors and another $50 for the harness. I'm almost certain it is the harness though. None of the wires were pinched though, but I'm pretty sure one of the connectors are bad. Anyone have the sensors and harness for cheaper? I'd rather order online and pay less than buy here in town from these guys

Oh and another question, if you over tighten the knock sensors, can you reuse them?
