Default 98LS1 & Trans in 2000 camaro ain't working

Wrecked the rear of my 98 camaro and bought a 2000 camaro with no motor no trans, swapped the motor and trans to the 2000.It starts and keeps running kinda alright but when I try to put in reverse wont go.It goes into drive but when I give it some gas it dont want to pick up it just runns like **** it wont even go 10mph. The motor and trans were fine befor I tookem out of the other car and I tried changing the PCM and with that it wouldn't even start WTF. Are the harnesses that different? And the connector on the trans is alittle differnt but still went in easy

Temperature sensor on the head not being hooked up will make it run super rich... you need that one.

You cannot use a 98 computer on a 2000 Harness, or vice versa. 98 computers are different from all other years, and the harness is also. you need to only transplant the 98 motor and trans and use the harness's and computer that are already in the car

I did use the 2000 harness and computer.I just pulled the motor and trans slapped it in the 2000 and hooked up everything. And the temp sensor has 3 wires on the 98 and 2 on the 2000 which color wire dont i need. then what about the trans?

If you have a 2000 harness, why not just get a 2000 sensor so it will hook up correctly...

connected the temp sensor and its showing the tempgauge is working fine but the same thing running like ****.I found this picture of a stock harness and its saying that the one with the orange circle is the CPS and the yellow is the MAP but mine hooks up the opposite.I tried switching them to the way in the pic and it wont fit the connectors.there almost alike they have a notch on opposite sides
