PCM Fail I friend told me he could tune my PCM and now its fired. he got me a new one from who knows where and it works but noe the mileage read 117k when it should read 67k. how do i get that fixed?

Actually my first post was in the welcome forum https://ls1tech.com/forums/introduct...another-t.html . anyway my friend has a 98 WS6 and his dad has a built 02 and has an HPtuners kit. Well he had his dad send out the HPtuner cd and i had to buy tokens or something and he did, i think he called it a "read wipe" idk. well after that it shot a message on the computer saying that it could no longer read the PCM and my car would start or do much of anything so his dad sent out a PCM for my car that it stock and it reads 117k. which stuck because the guy i bought it from had out on lt headers and y-pipe and an ls6 intake manifold, and had a PCM4less tune on it so now i have nothing. I just got the car a week and a half ago and now im not going to drive it till it gets fixed.

I didnt change ou tmy cluster. But from what i have been reading the mileage is not held in the PCM is a seprate computer that is attached to the gauge cluster? So im confused about why he said he fryed my PCM and the replacement is what messed up the mileage. It seems as though i was hosed. I was refered to this kid by my friend and they did the work while i was stuck on the Ship(im in the navy). I have never done any type of tunes. I just had a Diablo on my last car. Anyhow, like i said it seems as though something is going on and its really fishy. Im starting to beleave that he took my gauge cluster and swapped it. IDK. I really dont know much about Trans Am's so i hope i can get this fixed. Even if i have to go to military police. So any info you can provide me would be helpful. Did this guy actually mess uo my PCM or was it juts some B/S and he swapped my instrument cluter?
