Default TPS throttle position sensor fluctuating after its cleared HELP hp tuners

My throttle position sensor is fluctuating after its zero'd out HELP!!!

I do the unplug the tps turn the key on for 10 - 20 seconds and then turn

the key off then plug it back in and turn the key on clear the code it set

and in hp tuners it says 0.0 0.0 0.4 0.0 0.4 for my tps %

and then ounce in while its gets a wild hair up its butt and flashes me a 0.8

I have tried 2 different brands of tps sensors and they both basicly did the

same thing 1 actually zero'd out with the engine off and then when you turn

the engine on or go for a drive ITS BACK!!! any remedy for this

thanks!

I am using a texas speed and performance PTM 92mm throttle body

Iac counts are 50-60 ish when hot. this is on a 1998 formula automatic

You just have the blade open to the point where it's on the verge of open or off idle voltage. Several ways to fix this. Drill the throttle blade a little so you can close the blade some is one way. Setting the tune up so it idles a little lower, or use your timing to help out some, so the blade doesn't have to open as far. Depends on alot of factors. Cam profile, mixture, timing, etc. The closer the timing and fuel mixture is to optimal, the less throttle opening you have to run to maintain a steady stable idle.

It would greatly help to post a run log and tune.

Measure (or scan) your raw TPS voltage. Look for any signs
that the voltage itself is unsteady as well as out-of-range.
