Who's the best LS1 Tuner around Joliet, IL to use? I have a 98 trans am with LS1 with Vortech supercharger and power cooler. How much is a tune on a dyno? My last tune 5 years ago was a very conservative tune, pretty rich and I don't like my Transmission shifts, too hard and it kind of jumps 200RPM each time before it goes into overdrive. I get a "Code" about every 200 miles or so for rich condition..

I'll be taking mine to speed. I keep sayin I m takin mine to straightline , then I hear a new person say no to many horror stories. Take it to speed ,and have it done right.

Speed Inc HANDS DOWN and I tried Straightline last year and I wont be going back. Speed Inc tuned my car this year and we just broke the stock ECU record. They have tuned pretty much every one of Chicago's FAST ls based cars. Jim and Larry are great people to work with!
