what is the difference between a auto harness and a M6 harness

what is the difference between a auto harness and a M6 harness Well I have a 98 SS m6 that I put a 99-00 pcm in it, and the harness I bought was from a auto. Will it work or do I have to do something to make it work? Will all my gauges(cluster) work? Thanks for any help

The pcm and the harness are both 99-00. The question I have is will the auto harness work with my m6 car? I think on the auto harness is there is a extra plug.

so you saying u bought 99-00 auto harness and pcm correct?
and your car is m6 all you have to do is rewire reverse lockout, CAIGS, i think thats all u need. look under auto to m6 conversion threat and your 98 gauge will work fine except your gas gauge
why dont u just repins to 99-00 alots easier
