Default what is the difference between a auto harness and a M6 harness

Well I have a 98 SS m6 that I put a 99-00 pcm in it, and the harness I bought was from a auto. Will it work or do I have to do something to make it work? Will all my gauges(cluster) work? Thanks for any help

Pretty sure all you want to do is repin the pcm connectors on your original harness to match up to the newer pcm. You're not the first to attempt this so try searching.

The pcm and the harness are both 99-00. The question I have is will the auto harness work with my m6 car? I think on the auto harness is there is a extra plug.

Your bigger issues will be the differances between the 98 harnesses and the 99 and newer ones.

so you saying u bought 99-00 auto harness and pcm correct?
and your car is m6 all you have to do is rewire reverse lockout, CAIGS, i think thats all u need. look under auto to m6 conversion threat and your 98 gauge will work fine except your gas gauge
why dont u just repins to 99-00 alots easier
