I just got my HPP3 back from Hypertech after 'upgrading it' to program my 2003 Yukon.
Are there some new features that aren't listed in my manual? It first said 'scanning for DTCs' then also asked me if I had traction control. Can I clear DTC's with my HPP3 now? Also, what does the traction control option change as far as the HPP3 unit is concerned?

I emailed HPP and asked them about this and also why the unit asked if I had traction assist, Hypertech's reply was this:
Thought that was pretty cool, only I still want to know if I can check the DTC's on the S10 while the programming is installed on the Yukon. OR, do I have to return the Yukon to stock before plugging in the unit on the S10?
If you choose yes that the vehicle has traction assist the tire calibration range will be 24-33 inches, if NO is selected the range will be 24-44 inches in diameter. There were problems with the ABS light coming on when large tire diameters are installed on vehicles equipped with traction assist. We added the DTC option where the unit will let you know if there are dtc's stored in the vehicles computer, you can view and clear the dtc's. Thanks
