I use the AEM UEGO and I couldn't be happier.

I've used the AFX in the past, but I couldn't stand the "open air calibration"

besides the noisy output, that's what is wrong with the AEM though... it uses a constant reference (cal resistor) for output determination vs. what is real and changing... I know it's easier, but you know the saying about easier

FWIW, I'm using one of the older JAW 1.042 DIY units. Either I'm doing something wrong, or the 1-5v output is just impossible to match to the display. Makes me wonder which output source is accurate (if either).

I've re-calculated the error in the VCM scanner at least 3 times. I'll try another time or 2 and end up buying something else if I can't get a better correlation.

If you are tuning several vehicles, buy a portable one like the LM-2
If you are going to tune only 1 vehicle, buy the LC-1 and do a permanent install.

Got the Pro version, and I`m only going to tune one car so the LC-1 is the one I`m gonna run with

I will be purchasing a wideband O2 real soon. Just wanted to know the accuracy of the LM1 kit vs LC1 and also AFX NGK sensor.

I like the portability of LM1 kit since I do plan to tune other cars but I question the accuracy.

For consumer level choices I like the AFX followed by the LM1.

Once I get the wideband hooked up I'll send you a log of my car for our "tune" session. The sun has finally start coming out here in England.

Edit: Do you sell AFX-NGK kit?

I don't have a Lab wideband to compare with, but when I tune a car with my LM-2 or my LC-1, the LTFT's stay at 0 with car in closed loop. So I think they are accurate enough for my needs.

The only bad thing about the LM-2 is I have to recalibrate it for every car I tune. Don't know why but calibration changes even from one day to next (same car).
Once calibrated, it works fine and AFR always agrees with narrowbands once finished.

Many people talk good things about AFX, I'm going to buy one to compare...

Yep, I have one and like it. Trying to find a place to stick it and still it was the hardest part about the install.

I run the AEM Uego and really like it. Its easy to use and integrate to HPT.

Is it lab grade? No. Does it work great for what I need it to? Yes.
