What are the actual codes set? Does the car have rear 02's any more? It could be those, but it's just a guess without the code numbers. You can try and go back to the previous tuner to see if they still have a saved copy of the tune.

The hypertech will screw everything up. Even if you remove it it'll just replace the current tune with a stock tune. To my knowledge it doesn't save the tune from the computer before overwriting it.

if that happens, how come it dosent through codes like egr that is being remove, it has the 3.73 gears and the speedometer is marking correctly and the rear o2s are also being remove and there is no code for that aswell.. only front o2s.. im confused

I may missunderstand the use of hypertech programer, I used it inconjuction with a mail order for several years way back when and never had a problem just changed/add/removed several differant shift points/fuel change/gear change/.....
My understanding was if you removed the hypertech programer it removed only the things IT had changed ( reverted back to the tune which it had over writen no matter if THAT tune was OE or Custom)
just my .02 as I am not a pro tuner

when ur going to remove the hpp, u connect it and on the hpp screen it gives u the option to make changes or go back to stock tune.. so u select, the go back to stock tune option to remove it completly, right?

Oh ok. Perhaps I was the one that was mistaken. I was going off what a tuner guy once told me. If I does go back to the previous tune and not stock, you must have other problems. Sounds like your O2s are either bad or you have a blown fuse.

I don't know of the different versions of the Hypertec, but one of my customers wanted to see the difference between the modified tune that was in the car vs the Hyper on the dyno, the hyper would not download the tune, said something like Error, tune has been modified or something to that nature so it obviously will only download a stock tune..
