hi,i need a little help on an egr tuning for a 98 ls1..i got everything good i was wondering about this egr timing table? in hp tuners,ive read that you need to zero out the table on here somewhere because it puts timing,is that true?
second,if you disable egr do you have to zero out the egr table also?
also my egr isnt disabled..and if i do need to zero the table whats the proper way to do it?

I think mine is just disabled. I don't remember zeroing out the table.

Physically adding EGR to an engine slows down the combustion speed, so timing is added to compensate when it's active.

If you set the EGR switch to "Disabled" it turns ALL of the EGR logic (including the timing adjustment) off.
