Hey Guys,
I have a weird situations here and I am wondering what is the best way to rectify it. I am converting to a turbo on my LY6 build. It was originally EZ EFI topped. I have an EZ TCU that I would like to continue to use for the trans controller, however, I would like to run a reprogrammed LS2/3 computer for the injection, etc... I believe the TCU is separate from the ECM on the LS2/3, and since the EZ TCU needs a tach signal I believe I can get what I need from the ECM.
Is my thinking straight here? I want to be able to tune the ECM with HPTuners and continue to use the TCU to control the transmission. That being said, can I just use a LS2/LS3 T56 stand alone conversion harness so that have the 58X reluctor and the TCU stays separate?
Thanks,
Dave
