Default tune after rebuild.

i just had my engine rebuilt. new bearings. pistons. rod bolts. and added heads and cam and supportings mods. i see some ppl get dyno tunes right after they have the engine running again. I was looking to get a mail order tune for now until the engine is broken in before taking it on a dyno. should i do this? or is it safe after a few days to run it on a dyno?

I think so. I don't think these motors take long before they can be run hard. Vettes come out of the factory broken in with synthetic. But don't trust me. I don't know this first hand.
