Default Eliminate 3rd gear lockup with hp tuners?

If I want to eliminate 3rd gear lockup I just change the values in the "TCC Apply/Release Speed vs. TPS vs. Gear" tables for 3rd to 256 right?

That's what I did. Only I made the release 254 and the
apply 255.

Thanks, I just got finished making the changes. Now my question is how should I set my lockup in 4th in relation to the 3-4 shift speed. I noticed there are some cells in the table where the 4th gear TCC apply is at a lower speed than the 3 to 4 shift speed. Now I know it can't apply until it shifts to 4th, but will it cause any problems having the lockup set at a lower mph in 4th than the mph for the 3 to 4 shift? Thanks again for the help.

^^I've been thinking about those overlapping values as well. Obviously the trans cant shift with the converter locked.

I set my lockup 1MPH above 3-4 upshift in the low
TPS range, and step further away as demend rises.
Trans can shift locked, it just doesn't help any. Some
OSes allow it, some don't (or ignore you if you try).
On an F-body you'll probably just see a momentary
unlock / reapply across the shift event.

Did you change your low TPS 3-4 shift mph or leave it stock? On my car I'm around 25% throttle driving normal and it doesn't shift into 4th until around 53mph. I'd like to bring it down a few miles per hour but I don't want to go too low.

Everything's been massaged. Spent a lot of time on shift
and lockup. You can find some Excel 'sheets and repository
tunes of mine on the HPTuners site that should give you
an idea to start from. Bearing in mind gear, wheel and stall
differences.

Set your tables how you want it to shift and lock up not how someone else tells you how it should be.

He is just asking for advice, not for someone else's tables
