Default threaded iat sensor

I am going boosted with meth injection. I want to get a threaded IAT Sensor from DIY auto tune to screw into my welded aluminum intake.
do yall think they it will read correctly or do i have to recal the IAT wiht my HP tunners?
will the sensor get to hot? but that will be the true iat because its in the intake maniifold.
meth should not hurt it.

Resistance values are the same for both sensors, no recal needed.

I got one from local parts store and installed into aluminum elbow comming off intercooler into tb and it works great. It gives the comp way more accurate info than stock location would.

What car did you say it was for? I want an open end. DIY Auto tune has them for $20

The one in my sig. I wanted it after the vortech aftercooler rather than in the aluminum elbow right off the air filter like vortech is set up for. I did this because my tuner recommended it and I can see why after datalogging the car when making WOT runs.
