Help with A/C not staying on

Help with A/C not staying on Alright guys, here's my problem.
02 Z0, decent sized cam, A&A kit with YSi. The a/c is charged to appropriate levels. Idle's at 800. Whenever the car is idling and you turn the a/c on it, it kicks on for a second then instantly turns off. If you hold the rpms above 1,100 the air will stay on. While cruising the air stays on just fines. We've raised the rpm values, played with the tq bump or whatever that parameter is to no avail. Or if its idling and you click the a/c on, it comes on then turns right off, but as you blip the throttle to over 1100 it comes right back on.
Some of you more advanced tuning junkies please help.
