Default PO174 System too lean (Bank 2)

I have a '96 Caprice with a 5.7 and I get that code when I plug in my OBII scanner into it.

I've cleaned out the MAF sensor and I can't find any vacuum leaks. What do you guys think the problem could be?

Could also be mistrimming from a bad O2 sensor.
But that ought to be attended by other O2 codes.
Persistent misfiring can also spoof the sensor. An
injector fouling / imbalance problem can also jack
a bank's mixture around.

An exhaust leak on the passenger side can lead to a false lean condition and throw that code as well...

Most likely source for this exhaust leak be manifold to head gasket?

I switched the front sensors with each other and then I switched the back sensors with each other. So I'm guessing if I get a code that reads: PO171, Mixture too lean (bank 1) then I'm probably dealing with a bad o2 sensor.

**Note, I've owned the car for 4 years and have only replaced the front two sensors, not the back two. So I'm hoping it's a "simple" matter of just replacing an old sensor with a new one.

My sister has a 98 z28 that was getting the same code. I checked everything I could think of and it still always came back. The last thing I done was check the fuel filter and it was half plugged. changed it and the code has never been back in 3 years. I would of never of guessed it but it must of been it. Might give it a try.

Another symptom I'm having with the car is during acceleration. It bogs down when I drive off after its been sitting for anything past 30 mins or more, but once I drive it more it clears up.

Does that sound like a clogged fuel filter or fuel pump?

Thanks.
