411 ECM Power
Does the 411 ECM have an active memory that requires constant power when the vehicle is turned off? if so, How much power is drained by the ECM when the vehicle is off?
Thanks for the help

All pcm's will have a constant power to retain memory. Your draw will be very minimal in the .02 amps range. Vehicles with multiple modules will have a draw of upto a .25 amps. On GM modules orange wires are constant power and pink are keyed power.

Thanks for the info. I have a 411 ecm in my sand rail and am having an issue with parasitic power drain. I don't think it is the ECM, I am just trying to eliminate items one at a time. I did run my DMM around my sand rail's electrical last night, about 20 milliamps is what the ECM read, so that confirms it is not the ECM.
I do have about 160 milliamp drain for the memory in my gauges, so less than 200 milliamps expected drain with the key off. It just seems my battery dies faster than that. I'll keep looking.
Maybe I just need a float charger. . .
