hp tuner pro and vats

can i eliminate VATS on a 2002 gmc truck 6litre that i have transplanted in a 79 chevy truck, i have used all the electronics from the 2002, i do have hp tuner pro that i had purchased to tune my camaro, also any way i can eliminate abs and air bag lights in dash other than taking bulp out?

Yes you can turn the VATS off with HP tuners. No ABS or airbag control though so pull the bulbs

Yep VATS is a simple click to disable. Bulbs out for the other two.

yep, worked, for some reason most of the time i had to try and strart the truck 4 times before it would stay started, now it fires the first time.(any body kno why it would take 4 tries)

Fuel pressure bleeding off could cause the hard start

but hasn't done it since remouving vats, it would only start for a second the shut off.

That was just the VATS. It will get one injector pulse before the pcm realizes that the VATS enable signal doesn't match so it will start and stall.

but why start on the 4 try, should it not start period.
