No, it's just going to make it difficult to tune idle.

Has anyone pulled a tune from Denmahs Wiki page and used that data? His **** always seems to run/drive and idle very well, and this is the only injector he uses. I haven't made it this far yet, but will cross this bridge very soon. I also thought this data was/is on the Banish dvd. I can look there and post if needed.

Those 80lb injectors are very easy to tune. You can change the injector size and set min pulse to .175 and that is a simple base while even leaving everything else the same.

I usually run 45psi fuel pressure with just boost sensitive. Scale the injectors 78-89lbs. The VE table dials in nicely after.

That's just a suggestion.

What are the consequences of publicly posting Banish's © file? I know he tends to take that © pretty serious.

Isn't injector data just data and not someones specific copyrightable information? I mean, if I went to any injector site, copied that data, stuck it here, whats the difference? I actually thought he states where he got the data, but I could be wrong. Data is a series of #'s, I would think that would be like copyrighting a math formula, and then every kid in school would be in trouble. It's not like they are his injectors.

Banish just provides the Ford data... which Ford provides on their site for free. If you have Mathlab or can do things with Excel, you can extrapolate pretty easily.

Bringing this back... actually thinking of running the Siemens Deka 80s vs say ID850s or 1000s on my supercharged build. I know the ID data there is rock solid. But don't know if it's worth 2x the money if the Siemens run just as well?

The data I provided comes from Ford and was interpolated by Dave Steck. It differs from the other spreadsheet posted. I plan to run the Siemens and Steck's data. Any reason I shouldn't? Would the ID1000s be much better?

I don't know about you, but when it comes to 80# injectors, I am buying into the Siemens Dekas. When I was going to do a LSA, I was going to "HAVE" to buy ID's because there aren't many options on "cheap" injectors. There just seem to be too many people who can get it done with the SD 80's. I know driveability is the biggest factor, but you can see plenty of Happels videos driving around, and I don't see driveability issues with his stuff.

I 100% agree with Steck, and the math, but the SD's are not what his paper was about, it was FIC. From what I have seen the data on SD80's must be good.

Here you go. EFILive and HPT files. I'd leave the Fuel to Wall Transient stock. But if you notice any lean or rich conditions on throttle tip in, modify to this. The Min Fuel Mg or Transient Min Mg is a pulsewidth adjustment for idle. Do change this.

The rest are standard issue adjustments. If you have a boost-referenced FPR, just use the IFR Flow at 0 and carry across. Same for the offset table. Use the values in the 0 column/row (depending on EFILive or HPT) and carry across.

Jake this data has got to be really close. I just hit the key and fired off a brand new boost refrenced return style fuel system on the first hit of the key. Fired up, idles smooth as stock. Thanks!
