99 Z28 A4, Predator Speedometer GearRatio
Hey Everyone,
I busted my stock ring and pinion set a few weeks ago, I finally got a new Rearend.
Its from a 98 v6 auto, 40k miles, i thought they came with a 3,23.. from counting the teeth it came out to be a 3,42.
60mph = 2000rpm
I rebuilt my motor a lil over the winter, new cam, converter etc.. I got a Dynotune at a local shop (Germany) 396hp and 401lbs/ft
My questione is, i have a predator.
Well now with the new 3,42 gears my speedometer is off. I dont know how to change it with my predator, i can only change the "Diablotune" and the "factorytune" that i downloaded from my ecu before i got the new parts and the Dynotune.
Thanks for the help!

99 A4's came with either 2.73 or 3.23 - check the GU code on the door. Early predator versions had a problem changing the gear ratio/speedo. In my case from 2.73 to 3.42. Fix is to change the factory and actual tire size using predator. In my case changing from F: 275/40-17 to A: 275/30-14 did the trick. Check your code and let me know, I have the chart diablo posted years ago for several gear ratio/speedo changes.
