I really don't know where to start. Your running a SD tune so VE only. Start by resetting your stoich point to 14.68. and going back to PE and set it to where it cannot come in. Please put your stock timing table back in it, yours is rougher the the rocky mountains. Disable all burst knock. Now start scanning VE AFR error. copy, paste special, multiply by % until you get it close + or - 7ish then multiply by 1/2%. Once you get that, figure out what you want your PE AFR to be, say 12.5. Divide 14.68/12.5 that will be your PE ratio. After all that start messing with your timing.

Get on HPtuners forum and start reading your *** off. You have alot of learning to do. Don't get discouraged, you'll get it.

how do u set the pe so it dont come in set the pe kpa to 0?and rpm to 0? ive done so much reading im starting to get confused......i changed the timing back to stock, afr to 14.68, put 0 in for burst knock, but i dont think it will even run at 14.68. the lowest i can get it is 17.

If you set stoich to 14.68, and the car runs at 17, you should probably tune your VE table, as everyone else has stated. When you measure this, is the car at operating temperature? Check this out, it may help you some. It'll at least give you a place to start. I don't have Cpig's tuning guide here, as this is a work comp, but I'm sure you could find it somewhere online.

*Disclaimer:* Some of the info in the Cpig guide isn't accurate, but most of it worked for me. It's at least a good starting point for beginning tuners.

If you set map and RPM to 0 you will almost always be in PE. Set RPM to 8000 or something ridiculous and watch your logs. If AFR CMD ever goes away from your 14.68 you are in PE or BE. You want to tune VE under 4K rpms at first to get going and work from there. You will be more knock prone with a stock table in the higher areas and under boost.

attached is what I have in a 6.0L with a small comp cam. The mohawk looks like **** but thats how it came out. Nice and smooth I'll post up that trucks stock tune also for comparison.

Why can't he leave PE enabled (to come on properly at significant load) since the PE AFR shows up in the commanded AFR pid...?
