Getting ready to order the ms1 unit and msd 6010 for my lq4 build and I was just wondering if I was missing anything I plan on having the 6010 control timing and the ms1 for fuel my main worry is if I will have enough outputs to plug in my tach and fuel pump and anything else I need any info will help and also I anyone has done a similar setup what were your results thanks in advance.

Have you given any thought to the MS3X package? It will drive your coils and have plenty of outputs that could be tailored to your needs. You are already going though the trouble of wiring the engine you might as well hook it all to the same computer/tuning software.

I haven't priced it lately but I bet its about even.
