Surging l, but not at idle
Have cam headers and intake. Using stock 85mm MAF and stock homeported tbody. 6 speed. My car idles good at a stop, but if I'm say, in a parking lot or traffic, I will start off in first gear, get rolling at say 5 to 10 MPH, take it out of gear and coast. The idle will surge , or cycle from 825 to 1200, if i coast long enough, it will settle at 825 where its set. But its annoying if i have to put it in and out of gear like cruising thru a parking lot, because it will just cycle everytime I'm coasting because I only coast for a few seconds, then back in gear. Using HP tuner
Thanks for any advise
idle airflow based on rolling speed and I've seen some
tunes with crazy "divots" in the map.
I also have a bit of surge at light pedal, which seems
to come from a MAP-axis error in the VE table; I call it
"fuel surge" for want of a better idea. When you're not
at idle, you don't have the adaptive spark and the RPM
control loop to cover that up.
