HELP!!! I replaced two crank sensors,(1997 4.3 vortec)and both failed already, the first new one lasted two weeks,(ran great!)and the second one lasted one day(had a p0300 code and p0320 code),I have the third one and I'm afraid to replace it right now, because I've been reading about a relearn procedure,is this my problem? THANKS FOR ANY INFO! Also I have replaced fuel pump, pick up coil, checked ecm (good)

Misfire codes (0300) don't mean the sensor is bad. Crank
relearn is meant to true up misfire detect but it will run
without cranl learn. I don't think the thing will run without
the crank sensor working, though?
What about it is "breaking"? Mechanical or electrical problem?
Perhaps your problem is elsewhere. Like harness (not the
friendliest location, damage prone when messing with
exhaust), or maybe the supply or PCM signal pins got
hurt by some abuse - I'd look for diagnostics you can do
like checking source power, ground integrity and what
the signal should look like at the sensor and make sure
it looks that way at the PCM pin.
