Troube Shooting/ Tunning my 280/LSX Im looking for a shop here in houston that will actually sit down with me and go through my car. I just purchased it and want someone to educate me on this motor. I need some tweaks made to it and possibly a tune. Who has the patience and is a good shop that wont rape me?
The previous owner wired the fan to stay on all the time. He didnt have a template or guages when he wired it up. It also has a cobalt map sensor in it becuase he was going turbo.. The car has dead spots in the throttle and generally feels sluggish. Im wondering if an ls1 or N/A map sensor will fix this. The car also has a hard start and reguires al little gas to get it going. once it is started it idles fine. these are the immediate issues im having and really want to square them away.. if you know a guy please let me know. Honestly id prefer a local guru as apposed to some big name shop but i know its not always that easy
