i think its against the agreement to do this.

but if you are persistent you'll find what you want.

It's not like you can use the software without the cable.

i'd give it to you but i i'd have to ask the owners (who made it) first.

Never understood why hptuners/ls1edit didn't make the editor demo version (load bins) free, and just disable saving out of the code.

Would sell itself alot easier.

sorry i can't help you, and you might not want to be posting this in public dude.

I wish carputing would have offered that, would make it great to view files, ect.

I've been looking for a copy for a while, not asking, but keeping my eyes open, and haven't seen anything ever.

Hi Kevin,
You can definitely install the software to look at ls1 files. That
is
not a problem at all.

Thanks for asking,
Dave @ carputing.com

to be sure.

The .exe isn't what determines which files you can view

Hi Dave. Since we are supposed to be allowed to install the software to at least view ls1 files, and since it would do us no good to use it for programming since it wouldn't work if we didn't have the cable for it... how about you distribute a generic LS1edit executable or whatever it is that determines the years so we can view all the years LS1 files. It will make LS1edit more attractive when compared against the new competition if we can at least view all the LS1 files from different years.

If this isn't a problem now, then why do we have to pay for software updates?
