Default Frost Tune...Now IAT Problem?

So I got my PCM back yesterday and put it in. It takes a lot of effort to get the car started and running. It will not idle at all without dying. If I get the RPMs above 1,000 or so, it runs okay, but will die as soon as I let off. It also smells like it's running rich.

If I disconnect the IAT, it will start and run just fine. If I connect the IAT while it's running, it will immediately die. Same problem with a new IAT, since the old one broke after disconnecting it multiple time. I'm quite stumped...

Contact Frost, he will lead you in the right direction.
On a side note, what are the mods, and what type of vehicle?

I got a reply yesterday, but nothing since. I assume he takes weekends off like everybody else.

Car is a 99 Z28 with just headers, ORY, exhaust and a 3600 stall. Just simple stuff.

You might check out your ECT sensor, scan it if you can,
read harness voltage if you can't. ECT is a primary factor
in enrichment for open loop / startup. IAT will also index
this, but a faulted IAT might eliminate all the cold enrich
(there's some stuff that's "X vs ECT vs IAT" tables.

I've seen vehicles with bad ECT connectors that act all
flakey and over-enriched.

Reading 5 volts across the ECT connector. Resistance in the sensor looks okay. It runs fine with the ECT connected and IAT disconnected. It dies when the ECT is disconnected.

Default tune

As stated above contact Steve first he will guide you in the direction and give you help in trying to trouble shoot. And be patience a lot of these guys stay super busy, and takes a day or so to get back with you,

Also give us some diagnostics so we can help or the tuner can help out like post sensor reading, what are your IAT or coolant reading, 02 readings, alot of variables, check and post what your voltage readings at the sensor connectors.
