any ideas of why im running rich?
any ideas of why im running rich? I just cleaned the plugs and the o2 sensors are pretty new, im stumped. attached is a hp tuners scan file and the tune that is presently on the car. any help would be great. thanks in advance
maf didnt make much difference if any, short term fuel trims started creeping up within 2 min of idling. going to check for vacuum leaks today, hoping its no big deal.
Fuel trims can increase at idle if IAT's rise. Don't rely solely on them. Agreed though - it's likely mechanical (vacuum leak, exhaust leak, bad sensors) assuming the tune is close.
ok so i fixed a nasty vacuum leak at the booster, heres a quick 4 min run from my house to the gym. any thoughts? im starting to think the 02's might be a suspect with such low numbers. im also considering running an clsd tune, can anyone shed light on whether or not i have to purchase additional credits to do this? thanks yall.
Looks a lot better. Why are some of the injector tables changed? Are you sure that there are no intake to cyl head vacuum leaks? As the fuel trims vary quite a bit bank to bank.
No credits required to tune SD, just fail the maf. The 1 bar os includes a tps multi for the ve table if a very large 250@.050+ duration cam is used. Also keeps the high & low octane spark tables functional and you get real time tuning.

there could be a cylinder head to intake leak, i sprayed with carb cleaner to verify but it could be on the underside. so as it is do you think the tune is safe to drive on a 10 mile round trip to work? ive never driven her more than a few hundred yards. in the mean time ill replace the 02s and intake gaskets and see if there are any improvements before i start logging more time. thanks for all your help, just starting to teach myself how to tune(with a guide of course).

Verdad Gallardo What intake manifold? As an LS6 manifold requires the LS6 rear coolant block-offs & different front cross over pipe. And the Fast intake requires the button head valley cover bolts. With these manifolds, the wrong pipes/bolts will cause a vacuum leak as the manifold won't seat all the way down to the heads.
Any mods to the engine?
And don't use carb spray, use water from a spray hose to check for vacuum leaks.
