Default Traction control??

I installed a 4L80E in my car and love it. I see a option for torque control, can that be use to control spinning if testing on the streets? Anyone got info on how to use this option, or I got to break down and buy a boost controller. I fear that will be even harder to learn. New at all this so please speak plain, and thanks for any info!

w/ a boost controller, you can easily make changes. W/ the traction control, it's time for a laptop hook up, program change, upload...Your choice.

"harder to learn"?? if you are not familiar w/ tuning, the boost controller would be an easier way...

The 4th gen F-body traction control is too crude and
slow to be useful for street or strip traction enhancement.
You'd need something like the RaceLogic setup ($$$$).
Newer vehicles with DBW throttles have more finesse
(which you may, or may not like; meddlesome).
