AEM wideband ?
AEM wideband ? where does the blue wire go I have the white wire to my EGR do I need the 9 pin plug like the directions say a little confusing the way they instruct it seems like they give directions for there EMS but how do I wire it to a 2000 ta I did go out and buy a 9 pin to USB cable do I solder the blue wire to the #2 pin and ground to #5 and just plug it in to my laptop I have read the stickies but knowone seems to say where that wire goes they say wire to the PCM do they really mean PC. I have all the pids set up just need to get data to the laptop(HP tuner) any help would be greatly appreciated

Blue wire on AEM widebands is for serial data, HPTuners doesn't have serial wideband input so you need only the white wire.
If you have a standard interface, EGR is the way to go. If you have a pro interface you need to pulg it directly to pin #1 on HPT interface.

ok then why would it be I get no signal to hp [PID.2811]/.5+10 and all that shows up on my table display is 10 does this mean I am not getting the signal from the white wire to the scanner and if so what could it be

Really just need to know where to hook up the white wire.
I'm guessing to the EGR pin in the PCM. But which EGR pin or wire.
I think there's 5 wires that go to the EGR.
I'll let tuner do the rest.
