Default Using Tuning to lock converter up top?

Any down side to using the TPS vs MPH TCC lockup tables to force a lockup in 2nd gear at 60mph @ 100% TPS and then again in 3rd gear 110mph@100% TPS?

My TCC complained audibly when I did it in 2nd. Not
sure there's much benefit there. If you're right at
upshift at the end of 3rd in the quarter mile then it
might buy you a little MPH (bring your RPM back down
and keep on truckin'). But some TCCs have more
holding power than others. Mine's very weak.
