Scott, if your reply was directed to me about charging $1200 to upgrade, you have misread my posts. That was my point, if someone quoted the OP $1200 over the price of the HP system, he was getting ripped.
FYI, this is not a sales pitch for whomever complained earlier today. Simply trying to give the OP a heads up before he got taken advantage of.
As far as the O2 sensor's go, very seldom will I use a Bosch sensor unless it's on a pump gas, N/A carb to efi conversion, IE stock style applications. You are correct the NTK is a much better part

Fuel Level.. not pressure...
though you can log fuel pressure in the Holley thru many of the 5v inputs
traction control requires the Davis Module...no other way to do it right now
if a 275 Radial and 900 HP dont mix, then you need some serious suspension work....
if you look at the x275 class.... those guys are doing 4.x in the 1/8th at over 200 mph on a 275 Radial at over 2500 hp on some of the cars...

I've been looking on flea bay and they vary from $230-$193 all of which have the holley part number 554-100. What I meant to say is who has the best price on these sensors. If it has a holley part number on it does that mean that it actually came from holley?

if it didnt come in a Holley packaging, its not the same...
I had asked Doug this very question because I had found the sensor quite a bit cheaper and wanted to know why theirs was so much more.
he explained to me that they actually test and calibrate each one to a specific value to guarantee accuracy
so while you may find the same sensor...if its not in the Holley Packaging with the number 554-100, its not the same thing.
Not all wideband controllers react the same and every manufacturer uses the sensor and modifies it in some way to make it accurate with their controller, whether its in their controller or at the sensor, they all do it to some extent
and when I said you buy it from them... I didnt mean you buy it directly from them...obviously its a part # that many vendors can sell...all I meant is that it needs to be the Holley Calibrated sensor to guarantee accuracy with their ECU.

Holley Buys them, modifies them, then repackages them and sell them as 554-100

and I've repaired devices that use special High temp resistors...
Lights in the concert industry put out as much and more heat than exhaust sometimes...have to use a special silver solder and a really high temp soldering iron for it(1200*~1400*)....pain in the *** ....
I wish I knew more details about what exactly they do to them....
its also listed on several sites that holley puts in a calibration resistor
heres one of the places I found it mentioned

Just read the whole thread, there's some good info in here.
I've been pricing a dominator setup all week
554-114 ECU
558-103 LS2 harness
558-201 LS injector harness
558-308 main harness
558-401 O2 harness
558-405 4L80 harness
554-100 NTKs -2 of them
The best price I got so far has been $2700, not bad considering Holley quoted me $3050.
Would anyone know of a good company to call for another estimate ???
-just trying to pinch pennies now that I realize I'm going broke LOL
