Default torque app help for fuel gauge

I put an 02 5.3 liter in my wrangler, I built my own aluminum fuel cell and put a stock fuel pump and sending unit from an 02 Tahoe in it. Pump side works but I'm not getting any feed back in torque app on fuel level. I am getting a change in resistance out of the sender and 5v going in. Which makes me think that I'm wired to wrong pcm pins or I have to go through a gm gauge before going back to pcm or the torque app doesn't support this application. Thanks for any input!

The phone app torque low end scan tool. Many use it with a tablet in place of gauges.

Use the gauge for fuel remaining instead of fuel level from pcm.Go back to the main pain in the app, then go into vehicle profile.Once there you manually enter in the fuel level. The app will calculate your fuel level based on how much you drive from that point with the app on.

I think you might need a gm cluster for fuel level to work correctly from the pcm as the pcm sends data to the cluster for that.other wise you need to use an aftermarket gauge.

Any one suggest an aftermarket gauge with the correct resistance? All I can find are backwards. And I still can't get a reading from pcm

the gauge sender doesn't use a 5 volt reference, sounds to me like wiring issue
