Default afr issue

So I have a cam only trex cam 01 m6 trans am, me and my buddy tuned the car and every adjustment we do for the afr at idle doesn't do anything it stays at 11.8-12.5 what could be causing this issue and info would be greatly appreciated. Maybe leaky injectors? I'm just tired of going through plugs searching for the problem thanks

How exactly are you trying to add fuel at idle?

Do yourself a favor and don't let him tune it. Take it to a pro.

Tune the VE table first , then head to the MAF table. But if he can't figure out the idle , I see a toasted piston in the future.

X2! That one should not be that hard. Pretty straight forward.

Shorten the injector pulse width, the car leans down. No way around it.

Ya I'd like to figure out the issue, before I had my buddy tune it I sent it to frost for a mail order and it drove horrible after he tuned it so I had a professional tune it prior to my friend messing with it.

Can you post a log of this? Have u checked your commanded afr during this? I'm not a pro and just tune my stuff but when I tune like you are doing I always go open loop speed density then back to maf if that's what I'm going to run. If you do this it will do what you want. You also need to look at your 've error. Again post a log and your tune file.
