How can i purposely throw a code? I'm doing a project for school and im basically making a OBD scanner more or less. However, i want to intentionally throw a code and make the "service engine soon" light come on and my question is how i can do this and what is the best way? for example if i unplug an o2 sensor and drive a couple miles will this do it? or should i unplug the MAF? or something like that. I know this is an odd question but thanks guys!
P.S. my goal is to throw a code the fastest and least damaging way to my car haha
