Default Ideas on getting rid some backfire

06 C6 with procharger, meth, cam, heads, etc making 700+

Realize the long tube headers, no cats and corsa sport exhaust at the rear will always be loud and have back fire. But since my new tune it is really bad on left off.

Was thinking about removing some timing in the top right half of my spark table to see if that helps. Anything else I can do to help? Thanks

I dont think you wanna pull timing, if anything add some more. From what ive expirenced the popping out the exhaust is from retarded timing on carb cars when they are running ported vac advance and they close the throttle blades.

I did take some timing out from this table. Top right corner around 2800 rpm and up and down to 40kpa or so and it seemed to help a little.

It's lack of timing causing it a long with fuel cut off.

You need to log it.

Could be the meth as it is currently turned on but wasn't tuned for it.

Will log and look.

Forgot to mention it is a manual trans. And noticed that there is a CFCO...should I look into that instead? Such as disable it?
