Question Please help diagnose problem

My car has started acting up "BAD". It sounds and feels like it is misfiring when I'm driving at times "it almost sounds like I'm on a 2 step" the AFR goes from 14.2 to 9.5 when it does this. That is at normal highway speeds not WOT. I checked the codes with my buddies reader and have O2 codes but I don't think they would make it act like this. It drives fine 75% of the time. I thought it may be my Timing tuner acting up so I unplugged it and plugged in the bypass plug but it still did it but it didn't seem like it did it as long but that could just be me. I also have a aftermarket mass air meter. Where should I start Mass Air Meter, TPS, IAC, O2's, if one of these how do I check them? Any ideas???

When my car was new I had a (pre-cat) O2 take a dump and not only could I see it drink fuel for 40 miles it felt like it was running on 3 cylinders. I thought it was something major. IMO your problem could easily be an 02. If the code reader says it's a forward O2 you should change it first. You could just swap front to rear if the wires reach, the rears just tell if the cats are working. Btw, my little drive home killed the cat, luckily it was all under warranty.

get a scanner and watch how the O2s are switching. slow or no switching O2s will cause that.
if you have an O2 code, start there.
clean the maf, check plugs and wires and all of that general stuff too.

The first two codes are Bank 1, Sensor 1. I ASSume that Bank 1 means Driver's side.
The third code/155 is Bank 2 Sensor 1.
Check your O2 wires & connectors first. It's odd that you have coincident troubles on both sides. Maybe reset your codes and monitor for repeats.

Thanks for the info. We cleared the codes on Saturday and rechecked them today and got the exact same codes.

are the O2s spliced in or are they direct OE fit?
do you have extension wires on the O2s (for headers)?

No direct plug in. As far as the header extensions I'll have to check. Today I switched the O2's around front to rear and rear to front. I will check tomorrow night to see if it throws the same codes or if it throws any.
