Default Whats yalls thoughts on my first time tuneing.

First time tuning a LS car, and I am proud of how far I have came but have a long way to go. Just curious as to what more experienced tuners think.

Hey, I have a question for you. I recently started playing with my stockish ls1 and trying to learn.

In your log MAF and dyn air are fairly close. But in the tune your VE is close to stock in the upper MAPs... how is the calc matching MAF (which was changed significantly in the tune)?

I started with a tune from a car that was similar, since I knew I had to log to see what it was doing. I can't drive the car down the road like I read that is the correct procedure to tune this. Only place I have to go is the track, and have only been once. I am sure the VE table will change more once I get bigger injectors and get to make more logs.

I know its said not to make wot tests but that's all I care about. I can careless about how streetable the car is. But this is why I ask cause it is so much information I know I missed a lot.

Above 4000 rpms you use MAF only on a stock setup.

Thanks, I now have a better understanding. I thought dyn air was the VE calculated mass air, but its the final blended calc combining the referenced data. I guess there is no channel for VE like there is for MAF only... use to be VE airflow, but I don't have it in HPT.

OP the log looks good to me. Could prob fine tune with a WB.

Yea I plan on getting a wideband but since the injectors were at 112% dutycycle I think I will take care of that first.

Thanks for looking
